About Me

Aloha! My name is John Edward Dace , and I’m excited to share my journey with you.

As a first-generation immigrant raised on Oʻahu, I take great pride in becoming a locally grown physical therapist—one who understands the unique needs of our island community. My path to PT wasn’t always clear; in fact, it wasn’t until my third year of college that I discovered my calling. Shadowing at a West Oʻahu PT clinic and working as an exercise technician in Seattle (where I logged over 1,000 clinical hours) solidified my passion for helping people through movement and rehabilitation. These experiences ultimately led me to one of the nation’s few hybrid-accelerated DPT programs, where I’ve thrived in blending rigorous academics with hands-on learning.

Beyond the clinic, you’ll find me cheering on Tottenham Hotspur football club, hitting the tennis courts, catching waves, or diving into Asian literature. While I’ve come a long way, I know the world of physical therapy has much more to teach me—and I can’t wait to embrace every lesson ahead.
